En 2024, se estrena la primera parte de Wicked, la esperada adaptación cinematográfica del musical protagonizada por Ariana Grande y Cynthia Erivo.<br> Maguire ha dado conferencias sobre arte, literatura y cultura tanto en su país como en el extranjero.<br> Tiene tres hijos adoptivos y está casado con el pintor Andy Newman.
