p Simone van der Vlugt nació en Horn (Países Bajos) en 1966 y comenzó a escribir siendo muy joven. Es una de las autoras de novela histórica más reconocidas de su país. Su otra especialidad es el i thriller /i psicológico, género que la ha llevado asimismo a consagrarse en todo el mundo.
