Sergio Ramírez, escritor, periodista y ex político nicaragüense, es reconocido por su prolífica carrera literaria y por haber sido vicepresidente de Nicaragua tras la Revolución Sandinista. En 2017, fue galardonado con el prestigioso Premio Cervantes. Ha escrito numerosas novelas, cuentos y ensayos que exploran la relación entre la historia y la ficción. Exiliado en España desde 2021 debido a su oposición al gobierno de Daniel Ortega, Ramírez es una figura clave tanto en la literatura como en el panorama político de América Latina.
