Matt Parker empezó trabajando como profesor de Matemáticas en Australia y en la actualidad vive en el pintoresco pueblo británico de Godalming. La última vez que los contó, en su casa había cuatro objetos que han estado en el espacio (dos de ellos de forma deliberada). Su pasión por las matemáticas y la comedia le han llevado fusionarlas para la televisión, la radio y su canal de YouTube, cuyos videos han recibido decenas de millones de visitas. También actúa en abarrotados espectáculos cómicos en directo y es autor de Things to Make and Do in the Fourth Dimension.
