David Szalay (Montreal, 1974) es un autor inglés de origen húngaro. The Telegraph lo incluyó en 2016 en la lista de los 20 mejores escritores británicos menores de 40 años, y Granta lo situó en 2013 entre los mejores novelistas jóvenes británicos. Turbulencias, su obra más reciente, ha sido adaptada a la radio por la BBC y ha merecido el Edge Hill Short Story Prize 2019.
