Anteriormente ha sido guionista, también pasó dos años como monje contemplativo y ha trabajado en varias ONG, con drogodependientes sin hogar, pandillas y niños con enfermedades neurológicas adquiridas y congénitas. A. K. Benjamin es un seudónimo y este es su primer libro.
