Biografía del autor

Nació en Sussex (Reino Unido) en 1951, pero se crio en Australia. Estudió Periodismo y trabajó como periodista de investigación, corresponsal político y columnista en Sídney, y como corresponsal del diario The Sydney Morning Herald en Estados Unidos. Escribió los guiones de un gran número de películas, entre las que se cuentan Mad Max 2. El guerrero de la carretera, Calma total, Mad Max 3. Más allá de la cúpula del trueno, Payback, Desde el infierno o Límite vertical.<br> El año de la langosta es su segunda novela. Su primer libro, Soy Pilgrim (2013), fue un éxito de ventas internacional con más de 5 millones de ejemplares vendidos. Vive con su esposa y su familia en Lisboa.
