John Freely (1926-2017). Físico, escritor de viajes, historiador de la ciencia y apasionado de Grecia y Turquía, donde fue profesor en la Universidad del Bósforo de Estambul, fue autor de más de cuarenta obras centradas en estos temas y regiones.
