Biografía del autor

Herbert Marcuse, filósofo y sociólogo alemán, fue una de las principales figuras de la Escuela de Frankfurt. Ejerció como profesor en las universidades de Columbia, Harvard, Brendeis y California. Referente de la izquierda, él mismo se definía como marxista, socialista y hegeliano. Entre sus libros podemos destacar: Razón y revolución , Eros y civilización, Tolerancia represiva , El final de la utopía, Cultura y sociedad.
