Nineteen-year-old Billy Lynn is home from war. Back in Texas, he has become a national celebrity. A Fox News crew filmed Billy and the rest of Bravo squad defeating Iraqi insurgents in a ferocious firefight.

Biografía del autor

Ben Fountain (Chapel Hill, Carolina del Norte, 1958) cursó estudios de Literatura y de Derecho, y aunque ejerció la abogacía por un tiempo, la abandonó a los 30 años para dedicarse de lleno a la escritura. A la edad tardía de 48 años publicó su primer libro, Encuentros fugaces con el Che Guevara, con el que ganó los premios PEN/Hemingway y Barnes x{0026}amp; Noble Discover Award for Fiction. Seis años más tarde apareció su primera novela, x{0026}lt;i El eterno intermedio de Billy Lynnx{0026}lt;/i (Contra, 2016), que supuso la confirmación de su trayectoria narrativa, por la que recibió el National Book Critics Circle Award y que fue finalista del National Book Award. Sus obras han sido traducidas a más de veinte lenguas.
