Biografía del autor

Kate Atkinson (1951) obtuvo el Premio Whitbread (ahora Costa) al Mejor Libro del Año con su primera novela, "Entre bastidores". Sus cinco novelas sobre el expolicía Jackson Brodie, grandes éxitos de ventas, se convirtieron en la serie de televisión de la BBC "Case Histories", protagonizada por Jason Isaacs. Su novela "Una y otra vez" recibió el premio Costa a la Mejor Novela y el premio literario South Bank Sky Arts, y quedó finalista del Women's Prize. En 2011 le fue concedida la Orden del Imperio Británico por su contribución a la literatura y fue elegida Autora del Año de las librerías Waterstones en la ceremonia de los Premios Nacionales del Libro de 2013 en Reino Unido.
