The much-anticipated final conclusion to the Fitz and The Fool trilogy. Prince FitzChivalry Farseer's daughter Bee was violently abducted from Withywoods by Servants of the Four in their search for the Unexpected Son, foretold to wield great power. With Fitz in pursuit, the Servants fled through a Skill-pillar, leaving no trace.

Clerres, where White Prophets were trained by the Servants to set the world on a better path, has been corrupted by greed. What became of the liveships Paragon and Vivacia and their crews? What is the origin of the Others and their eerie beach? How are liveships and dragons connected? Biografía del autor

Robin Hobb (seudónimo de Margaret Ogden) nació en 1952 en California, se crio en Alaska y actualmente vive en una pequeña granja en el estado de Washington. Tras publicar sus primeros libros con el seudónimo de Megan Lindholm, en 1995 debutó como Robin Hobb con novelas fantásticas ambientadas en el reino de los Seis Ducados y muy influidas por la literatura medieval que devoró en su infancia. La primera fue la trilogía del Vatídico, compuesta por Aprendiz de asesino, Asesino real y La búsqueda del asesino (Nocturna, 2025); seguida de las series Las leyes del mar; El profeta blanco; The Rain Wild Chronicles y The Fitz and the Fool.
