Biografía del autor

Pedro Alcalde nació en Barcelona, donde estudió piano, flauta, violín y composición. Se licenció en Filosofía en la Universitat de Barcelona en 1982. En 1984 obtuvo el título Master of Arts en la Columbia University de Nueva York, donde estudió composición y dirección de orquesta. En 1988 se doctoró en Filosofía y Musicología en la Freie Universität de Berlín con una tesis sobre la estructura y sentido en el Don Giovanni de Mozart.
