Louisiana, 1869. The Civil War might be over, but former slaves Coleman and June have yet to find the freedom they've been promised. Nathan Harris tiene un máster en Bellas Artes del Centro Michener, Universidad de Texas. Recibió el Premio Kidd de la Universidad de Oregón y fue finalista del Premio de ficción Tennessee Williams. Vive en Austin, Texas. "La dulzura del agua" es su primera novela.
