Biografía del autor

Douglas Kennedy nació en Nueva York en 1955 y ha residido gran parte de su vida en el Reino Unido. Empezó su carrera literaria escribiendo teatro y literatura de viajes y más tarde publicó en medios como The Sunday Times, The Listener, New Statesman o Esquire. Es autor de dieciséis novelas de gran éxito internacional, traducidas a más de veinte lenguas y con diecisiete millones de ejemplares vendidos. Sus novelas más aclamadas son En busca de la felicidad (2018), La sinfonía del azar (2019), Isabelle por la tarde (2021) y El discreto encanto de la vida conyugal (2021). Arpa está recuperando toda la obra del autor estadounidense con objeto de crear la biblioteca Kennedy en castellano. A lo largo de su carrera literaria ha recibido numerosas condecoraciones, entre ellas, la distinción de Caballero de las Artes y las Letras de Francia. Actualmente vive entre Londres, París, Berlín y Nueva York.
