Steven Runciman
Sir Steven Runciman (1903-2000) fue uno de los más grandes historiadores británicos. Especializado en la Edad Media, a través de obras como "La caída de Constantinopla", "Bizancio: estilo y civilización", "Vísperas sicilianas" y, sobre todo, "Historia de las cruzadas" transformó drásticamente la forma en que pensamos en las cruzadas y la historia de Bizancio.
